About the Role
This position plays a critical part in Interstate Air Conditioning & Heating's commercial HVAC services throughout New York & New Jersey.
Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, reflecting the company's commitment to attracting top talent.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead a team of tin knockers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles.
• Input fittings into plasma and coil lines, streamlining the fabrication process.
• Maintain equipment, performing repairs and modifications as required to optimize performance.
• Procure materials and manage inventory levels, guaranteeing timely delivery and minimizing waste.
• Operate a variety of machines, including rollers, rotodics, shears, punch presses, hand brakes, weighting machines, plasma cutters, and coil lines.
Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of experience in duct fabrication.
• At least 1 year of experience as a shop foreman.
• Osha certification.
• A self-starter with excellent leadership skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
