We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional with experience in product service to provide detailed technical support for HVAC Ducted customers. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with distributors and branches, dealers and end users to resolve technical issues and improve customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support via call center for the entire DS customer base on product offerings.
• Review and disposition of warranty disputes and concessions, including monitoring customer activity and implementing warranty reduction efforts.
• Act as a field technical liaison between Factory Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Engineering product teams.
• Identify and develop remedies for field reported product service issues.
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
• Provide call center and job site technical support as needed to fulfill customer needs.
Requirements:
• Technical degree or equivalent combined education and experience.
• 3-5 years' experience in product service.
• Proficiency in Windows operating environment, including e-mail and Microsoft Office software, and experience with AS400.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
