Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Technical Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing detailed technical assistance to customers across various levels, including distributors, branches, dealers, and end-users.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive technical support via call center for all HVAC ducted customers, including warranty concessions approval up to a limited financial amount.
• Offer expert guidance on product offerings, both current and obsolete, to the entire customer base through call center support.
• Conduct financial reviews and make decisions on warranty disputes and concessions, monitoring customer activity and implementing strategies to reduce warranty claims.
• Act as a liaison between factory quality, manufacturing, marketing, and engineering teams, identifying and resolving field-reported product service issues and developing suitable remedies.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize call center and job site technical support to meet customer needs.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in product service with a strong focus on technical support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating environment, email, and Microsoft Office software, as well as experience with AS400 systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards and location, we estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
