About the Job
As a Commercial Mechanical Apprentice and Journeyman with Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial work. Our average work week is Monday – Friday, 07:00-3:30p, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule.
You will be responsible for installing, testing, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and refrigeration systems, system components, and equipment. You should also have experience with flex and fabric duct systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Laying out, assembling, and installing various sheet metal duct systems.
• Operating mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other related field tools.
• Installing, testing, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and refrigeration systems.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have 1-5 years of construction HVAC/Mechanical field experience. Additionally, you should be able to lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and push and pull objects as required. You should also be able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach.
