Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Mechanical Installation Technician to join our team at Craftsmen Resources. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $25-$40 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Lay out, assemble, and install various sheet metal duct systems, including square, rectangle, round, and spiral configurations.
• Operate mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other related field tools.
• Install, test, diagnose, and repair mechanical and refrigeration systems, system components, and equipment using appropriate testing equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Train and direct HVAC apprentices to assist in the installation of HVAC, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
Requirements
• 1-5 years of construction HVAC/Mechanical field experience.
• Able to lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds and push/pull objects as required.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach.
• Work at least 40 hours per week and overtime as required.
• Able to obtain an apprentice or journeyman's license with state licensing board.
• Able to work well with others.
