The role of Senior HVAC Project Manager at Verto People is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee site installations across the UK, working occasionally out of our West Bromwich office. You will manage projects from inception to handover, providing technical expertise and ensuring specifications are met. Your focus will be on HVAC products and solutions, including ventilation systems, air conditioning, air-cooled chillers, heat pumps, heat recovery equipment, and air handling units.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with experience in overseeing on-site installations within the construction industry, specifically in a project or contract management role. An M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) contractor background within HVAC or similar industries would be advantageous, with hands-on experience working with HVAC products and solutions on-site.
The salary for this position is £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a company vehicle for private use, yearly bonus, pension contribution, and 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple HVAC projects from receipt of order, inception through to handover stage
• Provide technical expertise on HVAC products and solutions, including ventilation systems, air conditioning, air-cooled chillers, heat pumps, heat recovery equipment, and air handling units
• Review and ensure accuracy of orders, quotations, and technical drawings
• Act as a focal point to collaborate with client and sub-contractors
• Ensure project milestones are met, delivering products on time and within budget
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Contract Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Manager, On Site Engineer, Engineering Supervisor or similar within building services engineering
• Strong understanding of HVAC products and solutions, including ventilation systems, air conditioning, air-cooled chillers, heat pumps, heat recovery equipment, and air handling units or multi skilled within electrical engineering
• Ability to manage multiple contracts in an on-site, industrial HVAC setting
• Engineering qualification in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous
