About the Job:
This role focuses on designing and modeling mechanical systems for commercial buildings, aiming to optimize layout for reduced installation costs while maintaining design intent. The successful candidate should possess:
• 4+ years of engineering experience
• Professional Engineer License (PE)
• Working knowledge of duct and/or pipe systems and associated fittings
• Experience in detailing using 3D software (CAD & Revit)
Responsibilities:
• Design and model HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial buildings
• Produce fabrication-level detail drawings for duct work, piping, and associated supports
• Collaborate with the project management team to generate bill of material lists for mechanical systems
• Work with project management and field teams to create advanced work packaging for efficient field workflows
• Write and edit specifications to match project needs
