Job Summary
CIS Industries LLC is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Harahan, LA. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing complex HVAC systems, including Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, dedicated outside air units, hot water boilers, computer room units, water source heat pumps, packaged rooftops, and split DX units.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair large-scale commercial HVAC systems, including Air Handlers, Chillers, Boilers, Custom AHUs, and pumps.
• Refrigerant system skills, including refrigerant piping installation, evacuation, and charging of all types of systems.
• Use instruments to acquire information such as temperature, humidity, static pressure, voltage, amperage, airflow, etc.
• Work with control systems, including wiring, thermostats, and end devices.
Requirements:
• Associate degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, and two years of related experience; or five years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Microsoft Office software proficiency and familiarity with handheld computers (i.e., Smartphone, iPad).
• Valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations for the previous 5 years.
• EPA Certification.
• Pass TAPS background check.
Compensation and Benefits:$85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, 401K match program up to 4% of gross pay, Safe Harbor company contribution 3% of your annual salary, a company-supplemented health insurance program, employer-paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability, dental, and vision options.
