Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Service Specialist - HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This role involves providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and overhaul equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical control devices, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
• Provide preventative maintenance activities for customers, diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies to ensure quality work performance.
• Process job tickets and work orders efficiently, collaborating with various departments to meet customer needs.
• Offer training to new or less qualified technicians as required.
• Maintain proper truck inventory and drive company vehicles safely.
Requirements:
• Familiarity with refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of single systems, rack systems, display cases, and walk-in boxes.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair computer controls.
• Good mechanical skills and communication abilities.

About You:
We invite applicants with a high school diploma or GED, coursework at an accredited vocational technical or trade school, and 3-6 years of experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, ice machine, and gas furnace. A valid driver's license and CFC certifications are also required.
