About the Position
Munters Corporation is a leading provider of climate control solutions for data centers, laboratories, and other critical environments. As a Data Center Service Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring that our customers' equipment operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
This position involves traveling to customer sites to start up, commission, and troubleshoot data center equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage projects while onsite. You will also be responsible for performing factory start-up, commissioning, warranty, and billable service on Munters Data Center equipment and systems, maintaining and protecting Munters equipment and property, responding to all requests for service from customers or management, providing customer training on Munters equipment, and providing technical feedback on equipment using detailed field service reports.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience in the mechanical field, specifically in HVAC. You should also have extensive knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, refrigeration systems, and controls programming. Additionally, you must be able to travel frequently (90% or more) and work in various weather conditions. A state-licensed Master HVAC mechanic certification is highly desirable but not required.
