Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager Professional to join our team at Aksarben Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing. This role is responsible for planning and managing the safe and efficient servicing of HVAC equipment, components, and systems in commercial and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and develop a team of service staff, including hiring, terminating, and disciplining employees, scheduling work, setting priorities, conducting meetings, counseling employees, evaluating performance, and directing work assignments.
• Evaluate workload and schedule service work to best utilize manpower and maximize profits, managing labor expenses to stay within budget guidelines.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Achieve monthly budgeted revenue.
• Ensure materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs, scheduling repairs for parts to minimize downtime and manage material expenses.
• Conduct research and participate in marketing efforts, generating reports on departmental operations, inventory, tools, and vehicles, and reviewing reports with management.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required, 6-8 years of experience in HVAC service.
• Working knowledge of gas piping, electricity, plumbing, and air flow required.
• Journeyman license and local/national HVAC code knowledge preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong supervisory, communication, computer, and mathematical skills required.
