This is an exciting opportunity for an HVAC Installation Specialist Lead to join our team at Verto People. As a key member of our team, you will oversee site installations across the UK, working occasionally out of our West Bromwich office. Your primary responsibility will be to manage projects from inception to handover, providing technical expertise and ensuring specifications are met.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with experience in overseeing on-site installations within the construction industry, specifically in a project or contract management role. An M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) contractor background within HVAC or similar industries would be advantageous, with hands-on experience working with HVAC products and solutions on-site.
The estimated salary for this position is around £38,000 based on industry standards. In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect a company vehicle for private use, yearly bonus, pension contribution, and 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee site installations across the UK, managing projects from inception to handover
• Provide technical expertise on HVAC products and solutions, including ventilation systems, air conditioning, air-cooled chillers, heat pumps, heat recovery equipment, and air handling units
• Collaborate with clients and sub-contractors to ensure successful project delivery
• Manage project milestones, delivering products on time and within budget
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Contract Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Manager, On Site Engineer, Engineering Supervisor or similar within building services engineering
• Strong understanding of HVAC products and solutions, including ventilation systems, air conditioning, air-cooled chillers, heat pumps, heat recovery equipment, and air handling units or multi skilled within electrical engineering
• Ability to manage multiple contracts in an on-site, industrial HVAC setting
