Burkhardt Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to join our team. As an HVAC technician, you will assist senior technicians in installing and servicing heating and cooling systems, perform preventative maintenance, and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Install and service heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Repair and maintain HVAC units, including air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide excellent customer service, including explaining work performed to clients and answering basic questions.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Interest in the HVAC field and willingness to learn on the job.
• Basic Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable working with tools and performing hands-on tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to customers.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs), bend, and kneel as needed during installations and repairs.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• HVAC Certification (Optional): Apprenticeships or certification in HVAC systems is a plus, but not required for entry-level applicants.
