About the Role
This Sheet Metal Foreman position is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled mechanics and helpers in the Construction division of EMC Mechanical Services. As the direct leader, you will be responsible for maintaining a productive work environment, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Supervise a team of sheet metal mechanics and helpers, promoting a culture of excellence and efficiency.
• Schedule Management: Verify and manage install schedules, daily and weekly schedules for on-site personnel, and ensure that all necessary materials are available when needed.
• Maintenance and Operations: Order materials based on specs, submittals, and takeoff to guarantee timely completion of projects.
• Code Compliance: Ensure that all installs meet or exceed code specifications.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
• A minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial or industrial sheet metal roles.
• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• A current journeyman license, with a master's license preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
