We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC Operations Manager to join our team at Atlantic Constructors, Inc.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 based on industry standards and the required skills.
About the Job:
This role involves supervising tasks and projects assigned, investigating, evaluating, and recommending changes to improve safety, and maintaining inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance records. The ideal candidate will have experience in controls or HVAC and be able to effectively survey repairs needed, create repair scenarios, and implement them successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise tasks and projects assigned
• Investigate, evaluate, and recommend changes to improve safety
• Maintain inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance records
• Manage employee time records and daily activity reports
• Participate in safety inspections, job safety analyses, and safety meetings
• Test new equipment/repair equipment to design specifications
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC trade field or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
• Previous experience in an operational and customer-facing role
• In-depth knowledge of two or more of the following disciplines: plumbing systems, electrical systems, HVAC cooling and ducted air systems, general construction practices, generator systems, and controls systems
• Excellent building services knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required
