American Home Energy Savers, Sacramento’s premier home improvement company, is electrifying the Greater Sacramento area and seeking an APPRENTICE HVAC INSTALLER to join our skilled and dedicated team.
Plumbers must be dedicated to a high level of quality and accuracy in their work and have the ability to communicate effectively to customers and their team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Installing replacement Gas and / or Electric HVAC systems. Replacing existing ducting in attics and / or in crawl spaces. Installing other HVAC category of equipment
• Perform all construction tasks per manufacturer’s installation guidelines
• Work under direct supervision
• Maintaining good working relationships with customers
• Clean up the job site
• Perform work in a safe and expeditious manner
• Conducting regular safety meetings
• Completing regular paperwork
Job Requirements:
• General understanding of home construction
• Good communication skills
• Previous experience in construction
• Must be able to climb ladders, sit, bend, stoop, stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• A DMV and criminal background check will be required upon receipt of a conditional job offer for this position.
• Must be able to travel to job site locations
• Ability to work in extreme weather and temperature conditions.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to make multiple trips up and down a ladder, daily
• Ability to lift, squat, deadlift, pull and carry up to 100 lbs., daily
• Ability to work at the ground level, kneeling, or bending daily
• Ability to kneel and stand repeatedly (lunges), on a daily basis
• Comfortable in tight spaces (attic, crawlspaces, etc)
