Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Operations and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Veolia WTS. As a Field Service Representative, you will play a critical role in providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for customers across various locations.
This mission-critical role involves working with a range of technologies, including media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, Membrane BioReactor, and ultrafiltration (UF) – in both pure water and wastewater applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate, monitor, and optimize a variety of water treatment equipment
• Bridge and LTSA installation and start-up as needed (heavy mechanical labor at times)
• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
• Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, and other site-specific requirements
You will work closely with customers to ensure their water treatment systems are running efficiently and effectively. This requires excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Requirements
• High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+ years' experience in service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial water treatment related to MMF, RO, UF minor chemical injection systems desired
• Working experience with chemical injection systems and troubleshooting preferred
• Experience in hands-on mechanical and minor electrical work
• Previous experience developing and maintaining site safety management systems (EHS compliance)
• Previous experience with the operation and maintenance of analytical instrumentation used for quality assurance on water treatment equipment

About You
To succeed in this role, you should have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. You must also be able to travel throughout the territory as needed (up to 75% travel) and reside in southern CA. Travel in western US may be required for extended periods.
