Job Responsibilities
This Mechanical Engineer position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from conceptual phase to construction phase, with a focus on delivering high-quality mechanical designs that meet our clients' needs. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Developing mechanical designs for building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborating with other support disciplines and regional offices to ensure project success.
• Assisting project managers in managing projects, following quality assurance and quality control plans, and coordinating with clients on project design, delivery, and construction.
• Mentoring and training technical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET-accredited university or college.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
• At least 5-10 years of experience in the building design and construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles related to building mechanical designs.
• Proven experience overseeing mechanical designs, including detailed plans and specifications for building projects.
• Technical competence in building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Autodesk Revit and MS Office Suite.
