Job Responsibilities
As a Stationary Engineer/HVAC-Forest Park professional, you will be responsible for performing daily and substation log sheets, making general safety checks, and completing tasks necessary to maintain and repair all power plant, field, and HVAC equipment. This includes:
• Maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and cooling equipment, including air conditioning units, refrigeration, and boilers.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems.
• Chemically treating hot water heating systems, steam generators, chilled water cooling systems, and swimming pools.
You will also be responsible for remodeling heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment, calibrating and repairing thermostats and air mixing boxes, and making decisions regarding heating and cooling requirements for individual buildings.
