The Role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will research and design HVAC systems, consult on HVAC systems and equipment design, analyze HVAC systems and equipment, communicate directly with customers, and serve as project leader.
Responsibilities
• Research and design HVAC systems to meet client requirements in large and small projects
• Consult on HVAC systems and equipment design for various projects, collaborating with engineers, project managers, and construction professionals as needed
• Analyze HVAC systems and equipment to identify inefficiencies or malfunctions and develop solutions to optimize performance
• Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments
• Serve as project leader to coordinate efforts of managers, engineers, and drafting personnel during all project phases
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields, plus experience in HVAC engineering
• Professional Missouri Engineer License
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Punctuality and meeting deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with 3D Modeling programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisWorks
• Urgency in work approach
Salary and Benefits
A competitive annual salary: $90,000 - $140,000 based on qualifications, skills, training, experience, and location. A discretionary annual bonus subject to company performance and individual contribution.
