About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Bish's RV. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and repairing units, learning and executing various tasks, and working on a wide range of RV units.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect units for customer sale
• Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientation
• Diagnose and repair RV units with minimal supervision
• Install 5th wheel hitches and full wire brake controls
• Work on the customer pay side of service work
• Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues
Requirements:
• Experience in the RV industry or a related field (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or maintenance)
• 2+ years of experience in a technical field
• A set of personal tools
• The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Work in environments with heat, cold, dust, and loud noises
• Flexibility with work schedules (including Saturdays)
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
