Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
This salaried position offers the opportunity to work as a Field Service Technician for HVAC Systems with a leading company in the industry. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team locally and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform start-up, repair, and preventative maintenance work on world-class HVAC equipment.
• Validate and update customer contact information upon arrival at the job site.
• Conduct on-site equipment inspections and make minor adjustments as required.
• Prepare start-up reports for submission to manufacturers, sales representatives, and contractors.
• Collect equipment operational data, photograph installations, and document them using a collaborative mobile application.
• Provide training to on-site maintenance personnel.
• Offer remote troubleshooting services during non-site hours, when necessary.
• Communicate with service managers to obtain technical advice and resolve challenges.
Requirements:
• Diploma in HVAC or Refrigeration, or Building Systems Engineering Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC and control systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2 years of refrigeration experience.
• EPA Universal certificate/license.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
