We are seeking a skilled HVAC Commissioning and Service Technician to join our team at Gaylord Industries. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the commissioning, service, programming, and troubleshooting of HVAC and related equipment in commercial kitchens. This role requires strong technical and mechanical skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:
As a HVAC Commissioning and Service Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
• The startup, tuning, and system integration of high-performance commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, blowers, variable frequency drives, pollution control units, and related PLC based control systems.
• Operating independently with a skilled support team reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
• Providing phone support, troubleshooting, and repair services for customers.
• Coordinating and executing project startups with customers, engineering, and supporting teams.
We offer an estimated salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in HVAC commissioning or a related field.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills, self-motivated to drive results, and foster a culture of service excellence.
• Proficient with high and low voltage circuit wiring, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Experience with measuring CKV airflow, the startup/servicing of pollution control units, programming of variable frequency drives, and a general knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, model building codes, and standards related to IMC, UMC, NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, or other preferred.
