We have an immediate need for an HVAC Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) Apprentice. We are looking for an honest, energetic, and motivated individual who can perform well and learn in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
The Ideal Candidate:Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and possess a valid driver's license. Must have basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be willing to work in a variety of environments including outdoors in extreme temperatures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Learn how to diagnose, test, adjust, and balance system components to achieve optimal system performance.
• Inspect systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment performance data to determine proper balancing techniques and project management approaches.
• Prepare paperwork for field use from mechanical drawings, and specifications provided by contractors.
• Learn and execute all required NEBB and company standards and practices.
• Establish effective working relationships with contractors, peers, and sub-contractors.
