Delson Talent Consulting is Seeking a Skilled HVAC Technician!
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a HVAC Technician. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients' homes by performing a variety of service, repair, and maintenance tasks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems in residential properties, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless units.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative care to extend the life and efficiency of HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues effectively to restore comfort to the clients' homes.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs, maintenance needs, and system options.
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds local building codes and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, respecting the client's home.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and repairs completed.
• Educate customers on proper care and maintenance to prevent future issues.
About You:
• Experience: 5+ years in the HVAC industry, with a strong focus on residential HVAC systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems and knowledgeable of industry-standard tools and techniques.
• Customer Service Skills: Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills. You are patient and attentive, taking time to explain technical issues to customers.
• Problem Solver: You excel at troubleshooting and resolving issues, often finding creative solutions to complex HVAC problems.
• Attention to Detail: You take pride in quality work and make sure all repairs are done right the first time.
• Safety-Oriented: You follow safety protocols strictly to ensure your own safety and that of our clients.
• Commercial experience, a plus
Estimated salary: $38,000 - $60,000 per year
Work Environment:
