Proman Skilled Trades is a leading provider of skilled trades services in the Houston area. We are currently seeking experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team.
Job Summary
This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial duct systems, as well as performing sheet metal fabrication and installation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install sheet-metal ducts, including squared, round, spiral, and rectangular configurations
• Perform pipe fitting tasks, including applying pookie and insulating
• Install grills and dampers, and set units
• Set curbs for RTUs
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety codes
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of commercial experience in HVAC Sheet Metal
• Familiarity with sheet-metal schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with sheet-metal equipment and hand tools
• Ability to handle physical workloads
• Must have own tools and reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include direct deposit programs, medical, dental, vision benefits, short-term disability, and life insurance programs, as well as referral bonuses and weekly pay.
