Job Title: Material Handler Technician
Volt is hiring experienced Material Handlers in DeSoto, Texas. As a Material Handler Technician, you will provide parts support to the overhaul of turbine engines and related equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure material is properly stored and pulled from correct inventory location with special attention to overall inventory accuracy.
• Move and package parts necessary to support overhaul production.
Requirements:
• 2 years warehousing experience.
• ~2 years forklift, pallet jack etc...experience.
• ~1 year of basic computer skill (RF Scan gun, SAP, Baan and Microsoft).
• ~ Inventory/warehousing experience, such as storing and pulling inventory, utilizing computerized bar coding equipment.
• ~ Ability to operate material handling equipment such as order picker, forklifts and pallet jacks.
• ~ Ability to properly store material in a warehousing environment.
• ~ Familiarity with shop floor production environment and equipment.
• ~ Repetitive lifting/moving of parts weighing up to 25 lbs.
• ~ Basic computer skills familiarization.
Compensation: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
