About the Role
We are offering a competitive salary of $140,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on experience, for this challenging role as a Commercial Buildings Research Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Lab.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and development, with expertise in novel HVAC and refrigeration systems, buildings-to-grid, building electrification with heat pumps, thermal energy storage, and sensors & controls. A Master's Degree or relevant Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience, or a PhD or relevant Master's Degree and 3 or more years of experience, or relevant Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience, is required for this role.
