Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Services Technician to join our team at Disability Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the building's mechanical systems, including boilers, refrigeration units, and HVAC equipment. You will also perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and make repairs as needed.
About the Position
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and repair, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of the building's mechanical systems
Repair and replace equipment as needed
Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues
Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding maintenance needs and progress
Compensation
