About the Position:
LVI Associates is seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee various projects, including higher education, ports, and energy initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will administer all phases of project development, from proposal submission to construction completion.
• You will lead HVAC and plumbing design engineering efforts and supervise multi-discipline teams.
• You will manage project phases, including budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, and specification writing.
• You will conduct energy studies, audits, and analysis.
• You will ensure compliance with state and local codes, including the Clean Buildings Law, HB1390, and Climate Action Plan.
• You will present complex engineering concepts to clients, industry partners, and other staff.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering design and project management experience.
• Experience with all aspects of HVAC and Plumbing Design.
• Experience with design-build projects.
• Proficiency in relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Estimated Salary Range: $124,800-$183,040 annually
Work Environment: Hybrid, based in Seattle, Washington
