Job Description
As an HVAC Service Technician with Ballard Natural Gas Service, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with refrigeration systems and heat pumps, and replacing compressors and TXV units as needed. You will work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration systems and heat pumps
• Replace compressors and TXV units as needed
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Requirements
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• 3+ years of HVAC service experience
• Strong background in refrigeration systems and heat pump repair
• Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons
• Background check and drug test required upon conditional offer of employment
