About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled journeyman mechanic with experience in HVAC comfort cooling, air-cooled and water-cooled systems in the industrial market. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself through meaningful work projects and learning opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Perform tasks related to HVAC comfort cooling, air-cooled and water-cooled systems in the industrial market
• Work on various types of chillers, compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives
• Maintain a high level of employee safety and adhere to our company safety program
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
Requirements:
• Three years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives
• Mechanical Journeyman status
• Member of Local Union 286 or willing to join
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers
• Valid driver's license
• Appropriate licenses to work with refrigerant, boiler, and steam operational & service knowledge
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
