About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our team as an Automated Systems Technician. This role involves supporting the Operations Maintenance team in maintaining and repairing material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging machinery.
As a Mechanical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE). You will also maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and adhering to preventative maintenance routines.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility
• Track and store department inventory
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of MHE, automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment
• 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading knowledge
• Experience demonstrating Safety Standards
• 1+ years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems
