Job Overview:
Mechanical Reps Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Estimating Administrator to join their dynamic team in Austin, TX.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in commercial construction or HVAC and be proficient in managing bid files, customer databases, and estimating software.
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Responsibilities:
• Manage bid files, bid lists, customer databases, and other related tasks.
• Support the estimating team in estimating and take-offs of projects assigned.
• Review and understand bid documents, including project plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Print plans and specifications, organize them in bid files, and administer weekly customer bid lists with MRI bid calendar.
• Administer and review addenda for changed bids and communicate with the sales team.
• Send Requests For Quotes to vendors as required for pricing.
• Assist in special projects for the betterment of all Mechanical Reps employees.
• Perform other duties as may be required, such as assisting with marketing and social media initiatives.
• Help manage client relationships by being a point of contact on proposals as needed on bid days.
