We are seeking a skilled Automotive Systems Technician to join our Hi Tech Automotive Group team in Austin, TX.
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work with Alfa Romeo and Maserati vehicles, performing routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. As an Automotive Systems Technician, you will be responsible for identifying potential issues, explaining problems to customers, and performing maintenance to fix or prevent future breakdowns.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems, the ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools, and a willingness to learn with hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Repair brake and steering systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
• Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
• Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
• Perform emissions inspections, safety checks, and state-regulated vehicle examinations.
• Produce accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
Requirements:
• ASE certifications required.
• Working knowledge of state inspection guidelines advantageous.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
Estimated Salary: $6400 - 8000 per annum ($16 - 20 per hour DOE).
