Job Summary
Nelson's HVAC LLC is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the HVAC industry, excellent technical skills, and a strong problem-solving approach. We offer competitive pay between $24 to $30 per hour, plus commissions on sales.
Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues.
• Repair or replace defective HVAC equipment, components, or wiring.
• Install new HVAC systems, including setup and wiring of thermostats and other controls.
• Perform tests after repairs and maintenance to ensure systems are working correctly and safely.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing on-the-job training.
• Communicate complex HVAC issues to non-technical clients, offering advice on maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet local and national safety codes.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle client queries related to HVAC systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to urgent or emergency calls for HVAC issues, troubleshooting and fixing problems quickly.
Requirements
• Extensive experience in the HVAC industry.
• Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• A commitment to adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Flexibility for a rotating schedule, including occasional on-call work.
