Job Summary
Assist to operate and maintain Bethel’s HVAC systems and assist with residence hall maintenance requests.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot campus HVAC issues - 55%
• Assist to manage the HVAC filter inventory.
• Respond to and resolve heating and cooling issues.
• Assist with HVAC equipment repairs and installation.
Residence Hall Maintenance - 35%
• Assist the Residence hall maintenance team with high priority maintenance needs and projects.
Student Supervision – 5%
• Assist the HVAC Service Technician with technical services student worker supervision and scheduling.
• Assist the HVAC Service Technician with housing maintenance student worker supervision and scheduling in the summer.
On-call technical services functions - 5%

Work Environment:
• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop and/or laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
• Must be able to evaluate the exterior and interior cleanliness of buildings and inspect all types of custodial related or supported areas.
• Complies with environmental health and safety requirements and procedures as outlined in University and State policies and directives.
• This position may be required to enter active construction sites and may need to access areas of the university that vary in temperature.

Expected Hours of Work:
Typically, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with the expectation to work specific schedules and hours as identified and communicated by management. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This is a 40 hour per week, 12 months per year position.
