This position will be assisting our 2nd shift, 3:00pm - 11:15pm; Monday-Friday
• *Sign on Bonus of $5,000!!!
The HVAC Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all plant systems including H.V.A.C., boiler, chiller, D.I. water, compressed air, fire sprinklers, water softeners, generator, dust collection and alarm systems.
• Assists maintenance supervisor with production support and other tasks as needed.
• Schedules, coordinates project work and supervises contractual labor.
• Responsible for annual P.M. inspections and certification of mechanical systems.
• Fabricates and installs plant equipment designed by Engineering or out vendors.
• Special projects as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
• Provides production support as required or as assigned
Requirements:
A Vocational certificate or degree in HVAC/R or related degree with 6 years' experience in HVAC/R in a Manufacturing, Regulated Manufacturing, or Commercial
environment OR a high school diploma with 10 years' experience in HVAC/R in a Manufacturing, Regulated Manufacturing or Commercial environment
Certifications / Licenses:
A 2nd Class B or higher Engineers' License. Refrigerant transition and recovery certification preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Aware of hazards associated with steam, refrigerants and treatment chemicals. Ability to read, understand blueprints.
