Seer Mechanical is a Philadelphia based HVAC Company. Our primary work is new construction and renovation installations. Contract work has steadily grown and the team is looking to add all levels of HVAC technicians. This role is for a Lead HVAC Technician with 8-15 years experience, strong leadership and mentoring qualities, and the ability to lead junior technicians and apprentices through the full lifecycle of complex VRF HVAC installations. The primary systems are Lennox commercial VRF systems, Stair Tower Pressurization systems, high end lobby and amenity space ductwork with full BIM coordination. All deliverables are best-in-class. Seer has a current 3 year contract pipeline in commercial high rise multi-family new construction installations, with additional opportunities available as the team grows. The projects are in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Our fabrication shop is in Bensalem, PA,
Primary Role - HVAC Installation:
• Assemble and Install HVAC equipment and ductwork including full commercial VRF systems, mini-split systems, 1:1 split systems, fan coil units, condensers, dunnage, linesets, control wiring, GRDs, ventilation systems, restaurant kitchen exhaust, and related components, according to specifications and building codes.
• Install Aaron root top energy recovery units and curbs using General Contractor tower cranes and riggers
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and efficient installation of HVAC systems.
• Test installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and make adjustments as needed.
• Interface with General Contractor MEP superintendents
• Attend BIM coordination meetings
• Maintain full MEP situational and schedule awareness on an active high rise construction site
Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on HVAC systems and using tools and equipment.
• Ensure all installations and maintenance activities meet industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Reporting:
• Complete weekly reports, track production against Seer projections, and customers schedule.
• Meet regularly with junior team members to create a plan of the week and month. Actively convey daily, weekly, and overall goals.
Communication with Seer President:
• Create look-aheads for material fabrication needs, deliveries, equipment and appurtenance needs. Communicate with the office to ensure ductwork and materials is proactively fed to the team

Continuous Learning:
• Stay updated on HVAC industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Seer sponsors active classes and enrollments in ABC courses
Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC vocational training or apprenticeship program preferred.
• Relevant HVAC certification or license (EPA 608 certification, for example).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field in multi family or commercial VRF installations. Hourly rate will be commensurate with skillsets and experience.
• Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Leadership and communication skills to motivate and train junior technicians
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in the HVAC industry.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 30 required within 60 days of job commencement. OSHA 10 required prior to hire
