Job Description:
Energy Management Solutions, an industry-leading energy conservation firm, is seeking an HVAC Technician (Entry-level trainee, novice Tech) to join our team!
Job Responsibilities
This position includes the following but is not limited to:
• Assist HVAC technicians with installing, maintaining, and repairing residential heat pumps and air conditioning systems.
• Assist with transporting and setting up tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
• Help assemble and install HVAC components such as ducts, pipes, and wiring.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to help ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
• Learn and adhere to industry standards and local building codes.
• Provide support in testing HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about project progress and needs.
• Help to maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Job Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to adhere to safety standards and regulations.
• Pay close attention to detail.
• Work safely and neatly when in a home.
Physical Requirements
• The ability to work in confined spaces.
• The ability to work outside in inclement weather.
• Must be able to lift 80+ pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders over 8 feet.
• Must be comfortable working on roofs or higher elevations.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, sometimes Saturday

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
