About the Role
This HVAC Service Technician position is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Responsibilities & Requirements
As an HVAC Service Technician at Lane Valente Industries, you will:
• Use a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customers' locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
• Inspect vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness.
• Maintain vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and complete repairs and maintenance service.
• Maintain equipment by inspecting for signs of wear. Notify customers and/or Operations Manager of findings.
• Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
• Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact.
• Determine parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
• Document work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration; and maintaining files.
• Record parts, material, labor, subs, and other cost data per assignment and returns unused resources.
• Turn in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Keep current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
• Read and interpret product specifications.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as necessary.
• Regular travel requirements with some overnight travel, as needed.
