Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and appliances in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Duties
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems and appliances.
• Perform repairs on various equipment including plumbing fixtures, electrical appliances, and HVAC systems.
• Build and assemble equipment as needed, ensuring all components are functioning correctly.
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts and repair requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
• Collaborate with team members when necessary to complete complex repairs or installations.
Skills
• Proficient in appliance repair with a strong understanding of refrigeration systems.
• Knowledgeable in plumbing techniques and equipment repair methods.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for various types of machinery and systems.
• Experience in field service operations, including customer interaction and problem-solving on-site.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in building, welding, or designing equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with clients and team members alike.
