Responsibilities of HVAC Controls Engineer:
Your proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building mechanical components equips you to handle maintenance issues within our building comprehensively. Your unwavering commitment to excellence will ensure that Verizon's building systems always function with maximum efficiency.
• Tasks involve overseeing, servicing, and fixing different heating and air conditioning setups and their linked machinery, such as refrigeration equipment and air handling systems.
• Repairing and servicing motor controllers and the corresponding electrical equipment and control systems.
• The role includes fitting, fixing, and aligning different models of pneumatic and/or electric controls crucial for the performance of temperature and humidity control mechanisms.
• Performing inspections and making necessary repairs on equipment/systems as dictated by company policies and relevant ordinances.
• Reviewing and understanding word sequences, operational guidelines, visual representations, architectural plans, and technical illustrations of machinery.
• Climbing up vertical supports, operating at high elevations, and transporting items typically not exceeding 100 pounds.
• Committed to fulfilling job responsibilities during evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts as determined by business requirements.
• The required work hours span from 7am to 4pm on weekdays, but adjustments may be made to accommodate business needs.
Qualification of HVAC Controls Engineer:

• Having a valid refrigeration license and the capability to pass, acquire, and keep a current certificate of fitness necessary for the operation of fire standpipes, sprinklers, welding tools, oil burners, or air compressors.
• Technicians are required to attain the Universal Technician Certification as per the EPA regulations detailed in 40 CFR Part 82 Subpart H to ensure proper handling and disposal of regulated substances.
• It is mandatory to possess a valid driver's license with a positive driving background.
• Requisite vocational or technical training or a history of three years or more in relevant employment.
