POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Commercia Refrigeration & Cooking Service Technician II that has experience servicing restaurants and commercial kitchen equipment, helping restaurant and hospitality managers with solutions for commercial equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, and other specialty food service equipment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Service commercial refrigeration equipment and systems to include walk-in coolers, freezers, small self-contained equipment, reach-ins, etc.
• Responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC, kitchen equipment and/or commercial refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoots and repairs commercial HVAC, kitchen equipment, repair & maintenance on refrigeration equipment
• Inspect systems and their components (e.g. air conditioning, heating and refrigeration units, etc.) to ensure safety and identify necessary repairs and provide an ongoing program of preventive maintenance
• Communicates with customers regarding status of repair or maintenance being performed or needed on equipment

• Continual learning and development in the body of knowledge through FirstCall Academy, to ensure we set the bar for skill level in the industry
• Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the FirstCall our customers make for their HVAC & Refrigeration needs
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
This position reports to the local vice president of service, and has a responsibility to the entire service team and all of our customers.
• Order and install replacement parts as needed
• Understands commercial kitchen equipment and able to diagnose repairs needed
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipment
• Experience and knowledge in repairs of commercial restaurant equipment
• Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Sufficient physical agility to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by particular jobs
• Physical ability to endure high and low outside temperatures
• Valid driver's license

Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in a field environment, traveling to multiple customer sites on a daily basis.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job:
the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard, reach with hands and arms.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.
The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds without assistance.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
