As an HVAC Superintendent in the commercial construction industry, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing HVAC projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing all on-site aspects of HVAC installations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. Note: The hourly rate for this position is $38 - $50 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage HVAC projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to meet project objectives and client expectations
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the project
• Ensure that HVAC installations comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment
• Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing project updates as needed
• Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges promptly to minimize disruptions
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress reports, and as-built drawings
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and controlling costs effectively. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an HVAC Superintendent in commercial and industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and industry best practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Familiarity with project management software and tools
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred
• HVAC-related certifications and licenses a plus
• A valid drivers license
