We're looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Service Sales Representative to join our growing team and drive success through strong client relationships and service contract sales.
Position Overview: As the Mechanical Service Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and selling HVAC, piping, and sheet metal service contracts. You will work closely with customers to align our services with their specific needs, ensuring that we provide the best service solutions available. This role requires a deep understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal service contracts, as well as the ability to manage the sales process from beginning to end. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to coordinate schedules and equipment for sold service work, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with commercial and residential clients.
• Drive sales of service and maintenance contracts for HVAC, piping, and sheet metal systems.
• Work with customers to align contracts with their service needs, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide scheduling and equipment for service work.
• Prepare and deliver proposals for service contracts.
• Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide effective solutions to customers.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC, piping, or sheet metal service and maintenance sales.
• Proven track record in inside and outside sales, with a focus on service and maintenance contracts.
• Experience working with unionized environments and understanding local markets is preferred.
• A degree in construction, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to develop client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously and work independently.
• Knowledge of commercial or residential mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal).
