Daikin Applied has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Project Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director, Shared Services, the Finance Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated project(s) to ensure that goals and objectives are delivered within budget and on-time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary.
• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
• Confers with project staff to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters, and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications.
• Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
• Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion.
• Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
• Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.
• Responsible for the successful completion of the project.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related
• 1+ years of experience as a project manager (or similar) leading ERP system implementations
• Direct work experience with SAP and Oracle
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
• Direct project management experience leading ERP implementations within a shared services function
• Knowledge of project and program management approaches/ methodology, planning, execution, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
