HVAC Field Foreman (Commercial Construction)
Job Summary
The HVAC Field Foreman oversees the daily execution of commercial construction projects on-site, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to timelines. This role involves direct supervision of subcontractors and field crews, attending meetings with General Contractors, coordinating with Project Managers, managing materials and schedules, and ensuring proper project documentation and closeout.
As the face of J.R. Hobbs on the jobsite, the Field Foreman builds strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members through professional communication and effective leadership. This position also supports estimating, change orders, and overall project management to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise the installation of HVAC systems, including H20 and refrigerant piping, air handlers, chillers, ductwork, and related equipment, ensuring OSHA compliance and quality standards.
• Utilize construction management tools (e.g., ProCore, Bluebeam) to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Lead and oversee field teams, including junior foremen, installers, and subcontractors, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Manage construction schedules, subcontractor hours, mobilization, and adherence to project timelines.
• Read and interpret MEP drawings and blueprints.
• Estimate time, materials, and costs; monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate project tasks and resources to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders ().
• Visit job sites to oversee on-site activities and address challenges in real time.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
