US Air Conditioning Distributors is currently seeking a driven and motivated engineer to join our sales team, focusing on growing business with existing customers and developing new business in the residential and commercial sector for its fast-growing company. This position will involve applications engineering and sales support with consulting engineers, contractors, and end-users. Sales Engineers should be comfortable working in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
• Provide integrated application engineering and design support for a wide range of Commercial HVAC applications with the goal of providing sustainable products and the latest technologies best designed to meet the customers’ needs.
• Work directly with Engineers, Contractors, and End Users.
• Daily tasks include job take-offs, estimating, proposal generation, application engineering, and outside sales.
• Responsibilities will vary and may include presentations, quotes, submittals, technical product support, job site visits, and hands-on troubleshooting as needed.
• Educate and promote products and equipment represented by US Air Conditioning Distributors to customers in the Greater San Diego market. This includes conference calls, meetings, presentations, lunch & learn sessions, and product demos.
• Research and develop new business opportunities within prevalent vertical markets.
• Become active in important professional organizations such as ASHRAE, USGBC, BOMA, and IFMA.
• Top-notch customer service and willingness to go above and beyond to serve the customer.
• Quick turnaround response times are a priority.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, or Physics Engineering
• 2-5 years of Sales Experience

• Base pay starts at $60,000 - $75,000 annually plus commission.
