What You’ll Do: As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial buildings, you’ll: Support Building Projects: Provide mechanical engineering expertise for building evaluation and restoration projects. Field Evaluation & Analysis: Conduct in-depth evaluations and analyses of HVAC and plumbing systems. HVAC System Design: Design and engineer new HVAC systems, as well as repairs and modifications to existing systems. Plumbing System Design: Develop engineering designs for plumbing systems, including repairs and modifications. Forensic Engineering: Support construction litigation projects by providing forensic analysis, including participation in depositions and trials. Load Calculations: Perform detailed heating and cooling load calculations for diverse structures and projects. HVAC Commissioning: Oversee HVAC commissioning for new construction projects to ensure optimal system performance. Department Leadership: Lead the mechanical department, manage workloads, mentor team members, and provide peer reviews for team outputs. Business Development: Contribute to growing the business through proposal development, client engagement, and promoting mechanical engineering services.
